Retraining from PPL(C) and PPL(H)<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

PPL(C) and PPL(H) pilots can upgrade their flying license. There are facilitations for retraining to obtain a flight license.<\/span><\/p>\n

Parts of the flight training required for the other sport pilot license have already been completed once and the corresponding examinations passed. These parts of the flight training do not have to be repeated. This knowledge and ability is expanded. Corresponding tests are not required.<\/span><\/p>\n

THEORY TRAINING<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

  • Technology \/ Aerodynamics<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Behavior in special cases (incl. human performance)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Pyrotechnics<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The theory test is conducted by the flight school’s training manager.<\/span><\/p>\n

    PRACTICAL TRAINING<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

    The practical training corresponds to the UL training without previous training (pedestrian)<\/span><\/p>\n

    The practical training consists of at least 30 flying hours, of which at least five hours must be flown solo, as well as at least five take-offs and landings in solo flight at two different airfields. In addition, two cross-country flights with a flight instructor over a total distance of at least 200 km each, three landing exercises with a flight instructor and three solo cross-country flights to foreign airfields must be completed.<\/span><\/p>\n

    • Instruction flights to teach the basics for mastering the air sports equipment<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Take-off and landing<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Behavior in special emergency situations<\/span><\/li>\n
    • First solo flight in the aerodrome circuit<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Learning to handle under special conditions (e.g. take-off and landing in crosswinds)<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Overland instruction with application of terrestrial navigation<\/span><\/li>\n
    • 3 x 50 km solo flights with stopovers at foreign airfields<\/span><\/li>\n
    • 2 x 200 km flight with instructor incl. Stopover<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Preparation for the practical exam<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      PPL(C): Completion of the practical training with a 60-minute examination by the flight school’s training manager.<\/span><\/p>\n

      PPL(H): Completion of the practical training with a 60-minute examination by a DULV examination board.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
