Radiotelephony training (BZF II and BZF I)
Would you like to take your passion for flying to a new level and fly further than the nearest airfield?
Then our BZF training is the perfect introduction to the fascinating world of aviation radio! With our training you will achieve the restricted radiotelephony certificate II (BZF II) or radiotelephony certificate I (BZF I) and become fit for radiotelephony in the flight service.
The restricted radiotelephony certificate II (BZF II) for the aeronautical radio service entitles the holder to participate in radiotelephony in German within Germany when flying under visual flight rules (VFR).
The restricted radiotelephony certificate I (BZF I) for the aeronautical radio service entitles the holder to participate in radiotelephony in English within Germany when flying under visual flight rules (VFR).
Our course offers comprehensive preparation for the examination at the Federal Network Agency. We work in small groups to deepen your theoretical knowledge and practical skills in radio communication.
Our teaching content includes:
- Theoretical basic knowledge of radiotelephony
- Practical radio exercises in German and English
- Realistic radio operations as they take place at an airport
- Map material for practicing approach and departure procedures
The course consists of a theoretical part in which we teach you to fill out flight plans correctly, which is a prerequisite for many flights abroad. After the theory, we will meet weekly via video conference on one evening each week until your examination at the Federal Network Agency and practice the correct procedures in radiotelephony at controlled sites and with the Flight Information Service (FIS).
